I have not the biggest family, but happiest for sure. I have older brother and younger sister, mother, father, and two grandfathers and grandmothers.
Life, what is that for me ? It is infinity information that you try to understand , but how we can understand what life is if we don't know everything about it yet? Would I want to go to Mars? I'm not really think about this a lot, because I'm living for one day. I can't choose really because our emotions changing every minute for sure. How I can be sure in somethings that's going to be happened later if, tomorrow I will probably dead? |
If I could talk to any person in the world alive or dead, it would be my uncle. Why my uncle? Because I never met him in my life. My dad always said that they were best friends in their life when they were younger. My dad always talked how they played soccer together. He told me how often they met each other in a week. But when they got older they did not see each other a lot. They did not even talk that much any more.
Why would I like to talk to my uncle? Because he is dead. He died this year. I did not even know that he exist until he died. I mean my dad told me stories but I never knew who it was. After all those stories my dad told me, I was kind of upset when I heard about that. |
There is a huge difference between American education and Chinese education. The Chinese education is more serious and teachers never joke with their students and Chinese students don’t have enough spare time to develop their own interest. In contrast, many American teachers just like a close friend of students. Their class is more active and interesting. More importantly, students have enough free time to develop their own interest. Also, I can learn American culture, their food and their idea. We can enrich our knowledge on book, no matter it is in China or America, but we can’t enrich our experience by just stay in the same place. There are so many interesting things out there waiting for us to discover.

I have a memorable experience. At the beginning of 2015, I went to Shanghai to prepare for TOEFL test, and I met a teacher who taught me for 4 months. She was a young girl. I thought my studying life would be very interesting and full, but it was not like how I expected. When I first came to the school, she was so nice and if something confused me, she taught me patiently. However, 1 months later, when I had troubles again, she was angry and she said ”I told you about this word before, why you made the exactly same mistakes again! You have to write each word for 10 times!!” After that, she always mad with me despite asking her questions carefully. I discovered that I can’t finish homework every day, so I always stayed up late to finish my homework. Every day, I went to classes, she mad with me and gave me more homework, and after I went back to hotel, I couldn’t finish them. I was repeating this kind of life for 1 months, I cried a lot because I miss my parents and my friends in my hometown. I really hate that kind of life during that time. However, right before I came here, I started feel grateful to her, she put all her time and and effort to help me, even I didn’t get a good grade in the end, but this experience is a motivation for me to study harder in here.

l really like this Humans of SJA project, because it is good and l gain a lot in this project. It can let me to know more people in the campus, know more information about my friends. That can make us have more good friendships. And l also met a lot of people l don’t know before, met more people from other countries or the people who work in the campus. It can make me have a good chance to improve my English, on speaking and listening. It’s a good chance for me.

One important person in my life are my parents. I can't choose one between my dad and my mom, so I will say both of my parents are important in my life. The reason that I chose my parents is that they are my everything in this world. They taught me how to be a better person and I can't live without my parents. They worked so hard for me and gave me everything I want. They are my heroes who makes me happy every time, who are always there for me when I need them. I appreciate everything that they done for me. I really can't imagine my life without my parents. I will always love them and help them no matter what. They mean the world to me.

I think the most exciting moment in my life is my 10-year-old birthday. That day, I even forget it was my birthday. So until dinner, I just stay in my room and did nothing at all. Suddenly my door opened, and there was a huge birthday cake in front of my parents and my friends. They all sang the birthday song at that moment. That time I was so exciting and moving that I even cannot believe my eyes. That moment is the most unforgettable birthday in my life. Thanks to everybody who celebrate my birthday, I felt lifted up and support from you.

The important person in my family is my father, because he is the one keep the family safe. Like if my family is a company, my father will be the boss, CEO. He will lead us to do great things. Also because he keep the money in my family. I need him to support my study and other things, so he is the important person in my family. But I didn’t say that my other family members are not important. They are also important.

I like the Academy and Vermont. It's such a nice environment here.
I like to draw comics, do work out and running to push my limits. Drawing makes me relax and learn stuff. It can help me to learn how to feel and how to express. My favorite subject is PE and Japanese Language. PE can help me with my fitness and Japanese can help me with my future goal. I want to be a comic artist in the future. I want to go to Japan and sign my comic books and make anime. |

I like early morning and late at night best, when everything is quiet and settled. And I love evening, too, when the light changes outside. But my very favorite time of day, I think, is when I read bedtime stories with my kids. Either my husband or I have read with our boys mostly every night of their whole lives. Right now, my 7-year-old and I are reading the Tintin books and Harry Potter. I love it; it’s a perfect time to calm any worries from the day, to be close to my kids, to get lost in a story together. I hope bedtime reading is something my kids do for their whole lives.
