Mrs. welch have one story that I learned a big lesson from and I think that it's really important to evaluate your opportunities and to take advantage of them. When I was in high school, my brother was in a very bad accident. He was in college at the time and he was hit by a car, late at night after dark, and he was in the hospital for a year. We took him home. With my mom and dad, we took care of him at home and I helped some also, but I was a junior in high school when that happened, and I guess the lesson that I learned from that was prior to my brother's accident, he had been trying to get me to come and spend a week with him at his college, and I said I wanted to hang out with my friends and I didn't do it. So I have always wished that I took advantage of that and spent time with him. I just think it's important to everybody to value your family and your friends and just always remember that you never know what could happen and you just treasure every moment. If I had an opportunity to go back, I would definitely spend the week with him at his school. Also, I love him and I miss him.
ms. hicksI have a lot of energy. I really have enjoyed cheering for cross country team, and I've been trying to cheer for other teams as well, when they have their games. Also the pep chapel and cheerleaders are so much fun to watch, and I love learning the moves, especially when they made all the new faculty come and dance. I had no idea what I was supposed to do, but it was fun and we were laughing and cheering. There are so many memorable experiences.

Mr. ryanI started working at STJA in 1993, after being a student here from 1985 to 1989. I’ve spent a big part of my life here. For students, I just want to say, whether if you are new students or returning students, the best thing you could always do is take every day as a learning opportunity. We have so many different cultures here, so many different people, there's always something to learn. The day you stop learning is the day you stop growing. I have been here forever, and I am getting old, but every day I'm trying to learn something new, meet new people, learn something about different cultures. I thrive in getting new things, and everybody else can do that too. So keep on learning. We have a motto here and that means "always learning," and I think it's a good thing to follow.
karlaI like where I live now. I live in Peacham. I have a beautiful view, I have lots of nature around, and I have a lot of privacy not to hear neighbors. Neighbors are good, but it's nice to have privacy.
Mr. ChrisingerWould I go to Mars in 2020? Well, I read something about that mission. People did a
study on it and said the people who will go on this mission will only survive for about two months, so I probably wouldn’t do it based on that. MR. BOSCOI coach the tennis team and I'm advisor of the tennis club. I've been playing tennis pretty much all my life. I really love tennis. It's a great sport. My biggest goal is to enjoy life and have fun doing a good job at the things that I have to do.

mRS. BAXTERI'm from Long Island, but now I live here in Vermont. I love Vermont. I have been living here 10 years. I love the mountains, snow, and cold weather. I like winter because I love snow.
Mr. herlEiksonProbably my mother is the most important person in my life. She
raised me for most of my life on her own. She is a really strong woman and is a person I look up to. In life, it is most important to make as many good experiences with the people you like be around. If you make more happy experiences than bad experiences, then you are living a good life. Mr. HoldenI am usually doing lots of stuff outdoors, like hiking and swimming. I coach basketball and frisbee in my spare time and my daughter enjoys playing basketball, so we play together.
mr. WrightI went to high school here and I had a good high school experience. Then I had an opportunity to teach. I am very happy to be here; I like working at the Academy. I like working with these people and teenagers. We do things very well and I love all aspects of the school, including the resident program, which I think is very strong.
